Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic artist, performer and composer. He blends soul gospel jazz with R&B to create a unique mixture. From Broadway to European festival and clubs, Sunshine has performed across the globe. Sunshine can be described as Denise White. Even though she lives in Atlanta now, Sunshine is born in Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she started out as a musician, singing and playing at the local church. She attended Spellman College and began to learn the R&B style of Atlanta. In 2005, she became the keyboardist in Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. In 2007, Grammy as well as Tony Awards-winning singer Jennifer Holliday sought her out to be the director of choral for the stage production of Dreamgirls at the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine received national attention for four daily performances during the Democratic National Convention in 2008. Sunshine was invited to perform at President Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony in 2009.
