Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch (born April 14 1970) is an American writer, comedic actress and TV host. Her most well-known role was as the hostess on Dinner and a Movie. She also has a strong fascination with environmental causes as well as humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch was a critically-acclaimed actress, and New York Times Bestseller Author. She wrote the memoirs You Didn't Say Tomato but I said Shut Up! It also appeared in an episode of a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch is best known for her lengthy stint as host of TBS Dinner & a Movie. In addition, she has appeared on shows such Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown. Her appearances are regularly featured on PBS Newhour Real Time Bill Maher on NPR. She also contributes op eds to The New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter.
