Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiKy-Mani was joined by Praswell, (Fugees), for a cover of Eddy Grant's hit song "Electric Avenue". His star-making ability was evident when Ky-Mani performed on stage Midem stage during Miami during the time that the world-class concert was held for the first time. Ky-Mani gave a thrilling performance for the full Cameo Theatre that was full of people. Live broadcasts were made via CANA (Caribbean News Agency) and was broadcast to over more than 36 countries. Ky-mani Marley has begun work on his 6th studio album. It will reflect his growth as a person and show the dual nature of his life. This is an urban-inspired sound which has its roots in hip-hop and reggae. The album is an interesting departure from the synthetic pop, which is usually considered to be a part of this style. Instead it will be authentic urban hip hop and reggaefusion. The new single "New Heights" is out March 3rd of 2011.
